Welcome to our site!  We bought our "Place in the Keys" in 2010.  Our home is near the best fishing, diving and lobstering grounds you can find.  Dolphin (Mahi-Mahi/Dorado), Sailfish, Tuna are just outside the reef (5-12 miles), while inside the reef (1-5 miles) Yellowtail Snapper, Mackerel, Hogfish and a ton of other species including Lobster are abundant.  Stone crabbing on "hard bottom" on the Gulf side can be extremely productive and a delicious treat!  The gulf side is also an excellent place for Lobster, Snapper, Grouper, Cobia, Jewfish (aka Goliath Grouper) and other species including tropical fish and invertebrates for collectors.  Key Colony Beach (KCB) has the best to offer in the way of comfort, convenience to shopping, safety and a friendly family like atmosphere.  KCB simply has the best Marathon vacation rentals you can find.
